Magnetite — Eastern Desert Fe₃O₄ ≥ 95 %, density ≥ 4.9 g/cm³, for heavy concrete, dense-media and water treatment
Magnetite is bought for density. Radiation-shielding concrete needs an aggregate that lifts the mix above 3,500 kg/m³; a coal washery needs a dense-medium solid that stays magnetically recoverable; a filtration plant needs a heavy, abrasion-resistant bed medium. Each use specifies Fe₃O₄ content, specific density and sizing — and a lot of diluted ore that reads 4.6 g/cm³ fails all three. Egypt's Eastern Desert magnetite deposits yield a high-purity, high-density concentrate within short haul of Ain Sokhna and Alexandria.
Egypt Globe Group's catalogue line is Magnetite Powder ≥ 95 % Fe₃O₄ — Heavy Concrete: Fe₃O₄ ≥ 95 %, Fe ≥ 65 %, density ≥ 4.9 g/cm³, in 0–1 mm, 1–3 mm and lump fractions. Density is measured on every export lot at the port laboratory, not inferred from a mine certificate: Egypt Globe Group's internal QA division has been at the nucleus of the group since incorporation, and the per-lot CoA is issued before the Bill of Lading. A lot below 4.9 g/cm³ or 95 % Fe₃O₄ is rejected at the loading port, never re-graded.
