Salt and chemicals for water treatment and softening
Municipal water treatment plants, ion-exchange resin regenerators, water-softener manufacturers and pool / spa operators need high-purity NaCl in tablet, pellet, crystal or coarse grain form, backed by the coagulants and disinfectants that run the rest of the plant. Egypt Globe Group ships water-treatment-grade Egyptian salt — vacuum-evaporated North Sinai / Red Sea sea salt and Siwa Oasis rock salt at ≥ 99 % NaCl, NSF/ANSI 60 certified — together with PAC, aluminium sulphate, sodium hypochlorite, ferric chloride and sodium bisulphite from its Chemicals division, to municipalities, industrial RO operators and consumer water-softener brands worldwide.
Softener resin and chlorinator cells are damaged by the contaminants a low-grade salt carries — hardness that re-fouls the bed, insolubles that bridge the brine tank, iron that stains. Lot-to-lot consistency is the whole value. The group's Quality Assurance division assays every lot at the port laboratory and issues the Certificate of Analysis before the B/L; an off-spec lot is rejected at the loading port, never re-graded.
