Egypt is a counter-seasonal producer on a twelve-month harvest calendar: citrus December–April, onions March–June, potatoes January–June, dates August–December, rice and sesame September–November, strawberries December–May. The Nile Delta, Upper Egypt, the New Valley and the Bahariya and Siwa oases supply fresh produce, dates, rice, sesame, peanuts, honey, spices and Giza cotton; Egyptian mills, refineries and IQF plants convert the harvest into oils, sugar, pasta, canned pulses and frozen vegetables. Grains, oilseeds, feed ingredients, coffee, cocoa and raw sugar that Egypt does not grow at export scale are sourced from origin partners in the Black Sea, South America, Australia, Africa and South-East Asia under the same specification discipline.

Egypt Globe Group (incorporated 2014, Cairo HQ, New Damietta operations office) supplies the division FOB, CFR and CIF from the Egyptian port network. Its Quality Assurance division has been at the nucleus of the group since incorporation: port-side QC teams sample every lot, a per-lot Certificate of Analysis is issued before the Bill of Lading, and ISO 22000 / HACCP / FSSC 22000 govern every food-contact line. The sector's pain point is lot-to-lot inconsistency. Egypt Globe Group applies zero tolerance on specification deviation — lots outside the contracted CoA are rejected at the loading port, never re-graded or renegotiated — and documents laycan with NOR and SOF on every fixture.
