Egypt Globe Group arranges ocean, road and multimodal transport for every shipment it sells: bulk-vessel charters, break-bulk parcels and full-container loads (FCL) ex any of the 7 Egyptian loading ports, plus the inland leg from the Siwa and Qattara mines, the North Sinai and Red Sea saltworks, the cement plants and the agricultural cooperatives to the port-side stockpile or stuffing yard. The chartering and freight desk sits in the New Damietta operations office, alongside the port QC teams, so the vessel fixture and the specification gate are managed by the same people.
Freight is where supply-chain risk concentrates: a missed laycan, an unclear SOF or a cargo loaded before the laboratory releases the lot turns a commercial contract into a dispute. EGG's logistics model is built around laycan discipline with documented NOR / SOF, a specification that is guaranteed at the port of loading and binding under the sales contract, and voyage condition governed by the B/L and marine insurance. No lot is loaded before the per-lot CoA / Mill Test Certificate is issued by the port laboratory.

Lane selection follows the commodity and the destination: Mediterranean and North European buyers of de-icing salt and cement load at Damietta, Alexandria or El Dekheila; GCC, Indian Ocean and East African buyers of chlor-alkali salt, fertilizer and phosphate load at Ain Sokhna, Adabiya or Safaga; Bardawil sea salt loads at Al-Arish or Port Said East. The forwarding scope for a breakbulk parcel is the same as for a bulk charter: laycan written into the sales contract, NOR tendered on arrival and accepted once the lot CoA is issued, SOF signed by Master, agent and EGG, draft survey or bag tally by an independent surveyor on request, and one through B/L for multimodal destinations without a direct call.
