Quality at the Core · since 2014

Institutional reliability in construction export.

Egypt Globe Group was incorporated with a dedicated Quality Assurance division at its nucleus. Specification is guaranteed at the port of loading and binding under the sales contract — the Certificate of Analysis the buyer’s own arrival laboratory reproduces, shipment after shipment.

Read the QA charter →

Zero tolerance on specification deviation

A lot outside its Certificate of Analysis is rejected at the loading port — never re-graded, blended down or renegotiated.

Per-lot laboratory verification

Source and port laboratories test every lot against the contract specification before a Bill of Lading is issued.

Independent third-party inspection

TÜV Austria, SGS, Intertek or Bureau Veritas (ISO/IEC 17020 / 17025) sample and witness at any of seven Egyptian ports.

Laycan and grading discipline

Documented Notice of Readiness and Statement of Facts on every vessel; sieve, assay and moisture verified per lot.

Egyptian construction materials — specification guaranteed at the port of loading

Egypt sits on one of the densest construction-materials resource bases in the Mediterranean basin: high-calcium limestone and clay belts along the Nile valley and the Suez corridor feeding an integrated cement industry, gypsum beds in Sinai and along the Red Sea coast, the Aswan granite massif, the Galala and Sinai marble formations, and the Zafarana and Sinai silica sands that supply the float-glass and ceramics plants. Deep-water loading at Damietta, Alexandria, El Dekheila and Ain Sokhna puts every one of these materials within a short voyage of East Africa, the Gulf, South Asia and southern Europe.

Egypt Globe Group exports nine construction product lines from this base: Portland cement and clinker, gypsum, limestone and carbonate fillers, granite and marble, aggregates, ceramics and tiles, float glass and silica, paper and board for packaging, and sawn timber and pulp chips. Cement and clinker move in bulk vessels (Handysize to Supramax); fillers, gypsum and plaster move in bulk or FIBC; stone, tiles and glass move containerised.

The industry pain point is consistency. Many regional exporters quote a specification at contract and deliver a different one at the ship's rail — a 28-day strength one class lower, a gypsum purity that drifts from lot to lot, a granite block with a hairline fracture found only at the buyer's yard. Egypt Globe Group was incorporated in 2014 with an internal Quality Assurance division at its nucleus ("Quality at the Core"). Every lot is tested at the port laboratory and released with a Certificate of Analysis or Mill Test Certificate before the Bill of Lading is issued. Lots outside the contractual specification are rejected at the loading port — never re-graded, never renegotiated. That is what institutional reliability in bulk commodity exporting means in practice.
