Egyptian cement & clinker — every lot released on a Mill Test Certificate

Egypt's cement industry runs on high-calcium Eocene limestone and Nile-valley clay, fired in dry-process kilns and ground at plants along the Suez corridor and the Nile delta — close enough to Damietta, Alexandria, El Dekheila and Ain Sokhna that bulk cement moves from silo to ship without intermediate storage. Egypt Globe Group supplies the full EN 197-1 range from this base: CEM I 42.5N and 52.5N Ordinary Portland Cement, CEM II/B-M (S-LL) composite, sulphate-resisting cement, CEM IV/B (P) pozzolanic, white Portland cement and API Spec 10A Class G oilwell cement, plus Portland clinker (C₃S ≥ 65 %) for grinding units and blenders.

Cement is a specification product: a grinding unit buying clinker needs a stable lime saturation factor; a ready-mix producer needs 2-day and 28-day strength inside the declared class every delivery; a marine contractor needs C₃A held below the sulphate-resistance limit without exception. Regional exporters frequently ship within the class on the first cargo and drift on the third. EGG's internal QA division was built in from incorporation: each silo discharge is sampled per EN 196-7, tested for chemistry (XRF, EN 196-2), Blaine (EN 196-6), setting time and soundness (EN 196-3) and mortar strength (EN 196-1), and released on a Mill Test Certificate before the Bill of Lading. A lot outside the contractual class is rejected at the loading port, never re-graded into a lower class.
