01

Alexandria Port — Mediterranean salt and bulk loading under the group's port QC gate

Alexandria (port code / UN/LOCODE EGALY) is Egypt's historic commercial port and largest Mediterranean-side multi-purpose hub for cement, salt, fertilizer and general bulk cargo. With ~14 m draft at primary berths and full-service infrastructure, Alexandria serves vessels from Handysize through Panamax with selective Kamsarmax handling. Egypt Globe Group consolidates Siwa Oasis and Qattara Depression rock salt — guaranteed ≥ 97.00 % NaCl — in the Alexandria region and loads sub-Panamax rock-salt cargoes, cement, fertilizer, gypsum and containers here with a port-side QC team on site.

Alexandria handles sub-Panamax rock-salt cargoes, cement export shipments, fertilizer, gypsum and container cargo. For the largest rock-salt vessels (Panamax+) the deeper-draft adjacent El Dekheila (17–20 m) is preferred. For Bardawil sea salt, Al-Arish (14 m, upgraded 2026) is closer to source. For ULCV / 22 m-draft requirements use Port Said East.
