Egypt Globe Group operational footprint — Cairo head office, New Damietta operations, port teams at all 7 Egyptian export ports, saltworks at the production…
On-the-ground at every link in the chain
Egypt Globe Group runs a vertically-integrated Egyptian export operation. Permanent staff are stationed at every link of the chain — from the mine and the saltwork, through the port stevedoring yard, into the documentation desk and the commercial office. This footprint is the physical form of the group's Quality Assurance division, in place since incorporation in 2014: a lot is sampled where it is extracted, checked where it is processed, certified where it is loaded, and documented by the same company at every step.
Two head offices
Cairo HQ — 30 Sibawayh Al-Masry Street, off Tayaran, Nasr City, Cairo
The commercial centre — sourcing decisions, buyer relationships, banking, finance, contracts, marketing, compliance.
New Damietta Operations — Office No. 2, Building No. 82, Central District, New Damietta
The operational centre — vessel coordination, customs liaison, documentation desk, the L/C-bank document set, port-side QC.
Port operations teams — all 7 Egyptian export ports
A dedicated port operations team is permanently stationed at each of the 7 loading ports. Each team handles stevedoring oversight, vessel agency liaison, customs paperwork, pre-shipment inspection hosting, Notice of Readiness and Statement of Facts recording, and per-shipment Certificate-of-Analysis collection at the loading berth.
| Port | UN/LOCODE | Coast | Primary cargoes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Damietta | EGDAM | Mediterranean | Salt (sea + rock), cement, fertilizers, grain, agro |
| Port Said East (SCCT) | EGPSE | Mediterranean | Sea salt, container cargo, agro |
| Alexandria | EGALY | Mediterranean | Rock salt, cement, fertilizers, granite, metals |
| El-Dekheila | EGEDK | Mediterranean | Rock salt, fertilizers, bulk minerals |
| Ain Sokhna | EGSOK | Red Sea | Salt (sea + rock), petroleum products, bulk |
| Safaga | EGSGA | Red Sea | Phosphate, minerals, granite, marble |
| Al-Arish (El-Arish) | EGEAR | Sinai (Mediterranean) | Sea salt — closest port to Bardawil pans |
Port teams also coordinate with partner stevedores, vessel agents and customs brokers, so shipments leave Egypt without the documentation bottlenecks that affect single-office traders. Berth, draft and loading-rate detail for each port is published under Loading ports.
Saltworks at the production sites
Egypt Globe Group maintains permanent saltwork operations and field staff at its salt-producing locations. These are not arm's-length supplier relationships; they are sites where the group's team works alongside the producer to control feedstock quality before it reaches the port.
Saltwork teams handle harvest scheduling, washing-line oversight, particle-size sieving and per-batch sample collection for the QC lab. Sea salt is graded by process stage — raw 94–97 % NaCl, washed 97.5–98 %, double-washed ≥ 99 % — and each grade is certified per lot.
Quality team at the mines
A dedicated quality team operates at the group's rock-salt mining sites in Egypt's Western Desert. The team samples every blast, runs on-site XRF + moisture testing, and tags every batch with a traceable lot code that follows it through processing to the loading port. Rock salt from both sites is guaranteed at ≥ 97.00 % NaCl.
Both sites operate under the group's ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Lot-level data flows from the mine sample through the wash plant, through bagging, through the port stevedore yard and onto the per-shipment Certificate of Analysis the buyer receives.
Why this matters
Most Egyptian commodity traders are office-only — they buy at the producer's gate and ship from the nearest port without their own people anywhere along the way. That is the structural cause of lot-to-lot inconsistency in the regional market. Egypt Globe Group is different: when a buyer calls about a shipment, the team that loaded it, inspected it, blended it and sourced its feedstock all sit inside one company. That is why Certificate of Analysis values reconcile closely with the buyer's arrival laboratory, and why the group can act quickly when a tender needs a custom blend or an urgent re-sample.
