01

Quality at the Core — an Egyptian export house built around its QA division

Egypt Globe Group was incorporated in 2014 as a vertically-integrated Egyptian export trading conglomerate. From the first day of incorporation the group has operated with a dedicated internal Quality Assurance division at its nucleus — not as a later add-on, but as the unit around which sourcing, port operations and documentation were designed. The group connects Egyptian producers — quarries, plants, saltworks and cooperatives — to B2B buyers in more than 60 markets across seven commodity divisions: salt, fertilizers, chemicals, construction materials, agro and food, industrial minerals and metals and alloys.

The pain point the group was built to remove is well known to procurement teams buying bulk commodities from the region: lot-to-lot inconsistency. A first shipment meets the tender specification, the third does not, and the buyer discovers it at the discharge port. Many regional exporters buy at the producer's gate, ship from the nearest berth and have no staff of their own between the two. Egypt Globe Group took the opposite position from incorporation — permanent QA staff at the source, at the processing line and at every loading port, with a per-lot Certificate of Analysis or Mill Test Certificate issued by the port laboratory before the Bill of Lading. Lots that fall outside the CoA are rejected at the loading port; they are never re-graded or renegotiated.

The result is institutional reliability in bulk commodity exporting: a specification that is guaranteed at the port of loading, binding under the sales contract, and verified by an independent inspection body of the buyer's choosing. For buyers mitigating global supply-chain risk, that is the difference between a supplier and a verified, long-term supply-chain ally.

Cairo headquarters · New Damietta operations · presence at every port and mine

Most Egyptian traders are office-only. Egypt Globe Group maintains permanent teams at every link of the export chain:

Cairo HQ
30 Sibawayh Al-Masry Street, Nasr City — commerce, sourcing, finance, compliance
New Damietta Operations
Office No. 2, Building No. 82, Central District — vessel coordination, documentation, port-side QC
7 port operations teams
stationed at Damietta, Port Said East, Alexandria, El-Dekheila, Ain Sokhna, Safaga, and Al-Arish
Saltworks
at the North Sinai (El-Arish / Bardawil) sea-salt pans, Red Sea coastal pans, Lake Quarun mineral brine, and Wadi Natrun natron sources
Mining quality teams
on-site labs at the Siwa Oasis and Qattara Depression rock-salt mines

Because every step has group personnel on the ground, Certificate-of-Analysis values issued at the loading port reconcile closely with the buyer's arrival laboratory. Site-by-site detail is on the Locations page.
