Distribution & Warehousing
Bonded warehousing, cross-docking and final-mile distribution from Egyptian ports into MENA, Mediterranean, East Africa and Eastern Europe — buyer-side logistics quoted as a transparent add-on to FOB / CFR / CIF, under the same lot traceability as the loading port.
Distribution & warehousing — extending lot traceability past the destination port
Once cargo arrives at a destination port, the next step is moving it into the consignee's warehouse, blender, plant or distribution centre. Egypt Globe Group runs a destination-side distribution layer — in-house at major hubs, partner-network at the rest — so buyers do not need separate logistics contracts for the last 50 km. The service is quoted as a separate, itemised add-on to FOB / CFR / CIF pricing; inland freight rates are pulled from the same group freight-rate register that powers ocean pricing and appear as a line item on the proforma invoice.
Distribution is where the Certificate of Analysis either survives or is lost. A bonded stockpile that mixes lots, or a cross-dock that cannot say which B/L a truck came from, breaks the evidence chain the buyer paid for at the loading port. EGG's destination operations carry the lot number from the B/L through the warehouse receipt to the delivery note, so the specification guaranteed at the port of loading remains traceable to the consignee's door.

Applications & markets
Destination stockpiles serve winter-maintenance buyers of de-icing salt in Mediterranean and Eastern European markets, construction buyers of cement in East Africa, and industrial buyers of chlor-alkali and water-treatment salt in the Gulf. Import procedures per country are summarised in the import guides, including Kenya, Italy, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
Standards & documentation
- Destination customs documentation and preferential origin (EUR.1, PAFTA, COMESA, AfCFTA): trade documentation.
- Specification is guaranteed at the port of loading and binding under the sales contract; voyage condition is governed by the B/L and marine insurance; destination handling under EGG control is recorded per lot — see quality & compliance and inspection & quality control.
- Eastern European operations run through the group's Pelot Logistika partnership.
