EN 16811-1 — European De-icing Salt Standard
EN 16811-1:2016: "De-icing agents — Sodium chloride — Part 1: Sodium chloride for the production and use of de-icing agents" is the European standard for de-icing rock salt and solar salt used on motorways + roads in the EU + EFTA + UK.
