Bulk sea salt for deicing — EU / UK / US / Nordic standards
14 deicing sea salt SKUs in stock — kiln-dried (≤1.5% moisture) and natural Type 2 (3-4% moisture) variants for every major regional highway standard. Sinai sea salt is the industrial / de-icing workhorse of the group: solar-evaporated at the North Sinai (El-Arish / Bardawil) and Red Sea (Ain Sokhna) pans, then washed, screened and, for Type 1 programmes, kiln-dried to ≤ 1.0–1.5 % moisture and dosed with E535 ≤ 80 ppm.
Sea salt de-icing tenders are sensitive to moisture and to the Type 1 / Type 2 declaration. EGG's saltworks laboratories sample every pan harvest and the port-side QC team confirms NaCl, moisture, sieve band and the anti-caking status per lot before the Certificate of Analysis and B/L are issued — the discipline that keeps a third shipment identical to the first, and the reason the group's export record reads as a run of seasons rather than one-off cargoes: more than 100 chartered vessels since 2015.
