Egyptian dates exporter — Medjool, Siwi, Saidy, Bartamoda varieties. Egypt is the world's #1 producer (~1.7M tonnes/yr). Grade A for export. The crop comes from the Bahariya and Siwa oases, the New Valley, the Nile Valley and Aswan, with harvest running from August (Medjool) through December (Bartamoda). Egypt Globe Group supplies four varieties across the soft, semi-soft and dry classes, from 25 kg cartons for paste and syrup plants to 500 g consumer packs for GCC and European retail; Deglet Nour is sourced on request.
Date quality is defined by moisture, sugar profile, size uniformity and freedom from infestation. Many regional packers grade by eye and ship mixed-moisture lots that ferment or crystallise in transit. The Quality Assurance division grades by weight class, measures moisture and sugars per lot, fumigates or cold-disinfests per destination requirement, and issues the CoA before the Bill of Lading.
