Egypt's Mediterranean fleet lands sardines from Alexandria to Port Said, and the country's aquaculture sector — the largest in Africa — makes it a structural importer of fishmeal. Egypt Globe Group supplies IQF and block-frozen sardines (whole or headed-gutted-tailed) from EU-approved Egyptian establishments, frozen tilapia and shrimp on request, and steam-dried Peruvian / Chilean / Moroccan fishmeal at 65 % crude protein for aquafeed and livestock mills.

Frozen-fish claims arise from histamine, TVB-N, broken cold chain, excess glaze and establishment numbers not on the importer's approved list. The Quality Assurance division verifies core temperature, glaze, histamine and TVB-N on every lot at the port cold-store, confirms the GOVS health certificate and EU establishment approval, and issues the CoA before the Bill of Lading.

Per-lot CoA by the port laboratory before B/L; lots outside the contracted specification are rejected at the loading port, never re-graded or renegotiated
