Water-treatment chemicals — coagulants, disinfectants and dechlorination agents, certified per lot

Egypt produces the full municipal water-treatment reagent set domestically: polyaluminium chloride and aluminium sulphate from Egyptian alumina and acid, ferric chloride and sodium hypochlorite from the chlor-alkali chain, sodium bisulphite from sulphur. Egypt Globe Group supplies these Egyptian-origin chemicals — PAC 30 % Al₂O₃ (basicity 40–50 %), iron-free alum 17 % Al₂O₃, ferric chloride 40 %, sodium hypochlorite 12–15 % available chlorine and sodium bisulphite 38 % — to municipal utilities, desalination and industrial process-water plants, with polymer flocculants and chlorinator salt from the group's salt division quoted alongside.

Utilities procure on active content, and active content is where this category fails: PAC whose Al₂O₃ or basicity drifts between batches changes dose and sludge volume; hypochlorite that has lost strength in a hot warehouse; alum with iron above the drinking-water limit. Many regional suppliers ship on a plant certificate weeks old. Egypt Globe Group's Quality Assurance division, at the nucleus of the group since incorporation in 2014, re-samples every lot at the loading port, assays active content, pH, density and insolubles and issues the CoA before the B/L. A lot outside specification is rejected at the port, never re-graded or renegotiated.
