LPG and gas — commercial propane and butane to ASTM D1835, surveyed on every lift

Egypt sits between the Gulf's LPG export terminals and the Mediterranean and East African import markets, with its own gas-processing output from the Western Desert and Nile Delta and pressurised terminals at Ain Sokhna and Alexandria. Egypt Globe Group supplies commercial-grade propane (C₃H₈ ≥ 95 %) and butane (C₄H₁₀ ≥ 95 %) from Saudi, Qatari and Egyptian production by pressurised or semi-refrigerated LPG carrier and by T50 ISO tank from Alexandria, Ain Sokhna and Damietta. Oxygen, nitrogen, argon and carbon dioxide are quoted on request for industrial-gas distributors.

LPG contracts go wrong on composition and on quantity: butane-rich propane that fails vaporisation in cold markets, residue outside the ASTM D1835 window, quantity disputes when shore and ship figures are not reconciled by a surveyor. Egypt Globe Group's Quality Assurance division, at the nucleus of the group since its 2014 incorporation, analyses every parcel at the loading terminal by gas chromatography and appoints an independent surveyor for composition, density and quantity. Specification is guaranteed at the port of loading and binding under the sales contract; an off-spec parcel is rejected at the terminal, never re-graded or renegotiated.
