Kaolin — Sinai and Aswan china clay for paper, ceramics and calcined filler grades
Kaolin is the white clay that sets the brightness of coated paper, the whiteness and plasticity of a ceramic body, and the reinforcement of a rubber or cable compound. It is specified on brightness, particle size, Al₂O₃ / Fe₂O₃ chemistry and loss on ignition, and the same deposit can yield a paper grade, a ceramic grade and a refractory grade depending on beneficiation. Egypt's Sinai and Aswan kaolins are the established regional source for ceramic tile and sanitaryware plants across the Mediterranean and Gulf.
Egypt Globe Group supplies three lines: Kaolin Clay — Paper Grade from Sinai, Kaolin WG1 Ceramic Grade, a white Aswan kaolin for ceramics, paper and rubber, and Calcined Kaolin for rubber, cable insulation and refractory use. Brightness and iron are where regional clay suppliers drift lot-to-lot. Egypt Globe Group's QA division, built in since incorporation, measures ISO brightness and XRF chemistry on every export lot at the port laboratory and issues the CoA before the B/L; a lot outside the contracted brightness or Fe₂O₃ ceiling is rejected at the loading port.
