Textiles & Yarn — polyester staple fibre 1.4D × 38 mm and GRS-certified rPET flakes, with Egyptian cotton yarn on request
The textiles line sits alongside the minerals division because it is traded the same way: containerised, on a datasheet, against a certificate. Polyester staple fibre is specified on linear density, cut length and tenacity; recycled PET flake on intrinsic viscosity, moisture and contamination, because IV and water decide whether the flake can be re-spun or only down-cycled. Egypt Globe Group supplies virgin PSF from Chinese, Taiwanese and Indian producers and rPET flake from Chinese, Turkish and Egyptian recyclers, and quotes Egyptian cotton yarn and viscose staple on request.
The catalogue lines are Polyester Staple Fiber 1.4D Regular, a virgin 1.4 denier × 38 mm regular-tenacity fibre for nonwovens and spinning, and Recycled Polyester rPET Flakes, clean washed flake with IV 0.72–0.78 and moisture ≤ 0.3 %, supplied with GRS and RCS certification. Substitution of off-grade or mixed-IV flake is the recurring regional problem. Egypt Globe Group's QA division, built in since incorporation, tests IV and moisture on every export lot and issues the CoA before the B/L; a lot outside the contracted IV band is rejected at the loading port.
