Copper — LME Grade A cathode 99.99 % and 8 mm continuous-cast wire rod 99.9 % Cu
Copper is the most certificate-sensitive metal in the catalogue. A cathode is Grade A only if it carries an LME-registered brand and meets the Cu-CATH-1 impurity groups; a wire rod is accepted by a cable maker only if its conductivity and oxygen content let it draw to fine gauge without breaks. Egypt Globe Group supplies both: electrolytic cathode from Chilean and African refineries, and 8 mm continuous-cast rod from Egyptian, Turkish and Indian rod mills, for cable and wire plants, transformer and motor makers, and brass and alloy foundries in the Mediterranean, East Africa, the Gulf, South Asia and the Far East.
The catalogue lines are Copper Cathodes Grade A (99.99 % Cu, LME certificate and inspection certificate per lot) and Copper Wire Rod 8 mm (99.9 % Cu, mill certificate, conductor per IEC 60228). The regional failure is cathode of unregistered or secondary origin sold against a photocopied brand certificate. Egypt Globe Group's QA division, built in since incorporation, verifies brand, bundle numbers and spectrographic chemistry on every lot at the port before the Bill of Lading, with Intertek or SGS witness on request; a lot that does not match its certificate is rejected at the loading port.
