Cosmetic brands answer to EU Regulation 1223/2009 for every ingredient: a heavy-metal result above the brand's raw-material spec stops a production run. The group's Quality Assurance division produces cosmetic grades under ISO 22716 GMP, tests an ICP-MS heavy-metal panel on every lot at the port laboratory and issues the Certificate of Analysis before the B/L; lots outside specification are rejected at the loading port.
