01

FOB Damietta — Egypt Globe Group's flagship Mediterranean loading gateway

UN/LOCODE: EGDAM · Region: Mediterranean Delta · Operator mix: Damietta Port Authority + private terminals

Damietta is Egypt Globe Group's primary Mediterranean loading gateway, sitting on the Nile's eastern Damietta branch, 70 km east of Alexandria. Its multi-purpose terminals handle bulk vessel, container and break-bulk simultaneously, with strong road and rail connections back into the Nile Delta industrial belt. The group's New Damietta operations office — chartering desk, documentation coordination and the port QC laboratory — is on site, which is why Damietta is the default port for most EGG bulk cargo unless another port is freight-shorter.
