Egyptian salt for upstream oilfield services — drilling mud weighting, workover brine systems, completion fluids. Siwa Oasis / Qattara Depression rock salt (≥ 98 % NaCl, dried to ≤ 1.0 % moisture) and vacuum-evaporated North Sinai / Red Sea sea salt (≥ 99 % NaCl) are screened to the mud engineer's sieve band and shipped with a port-laboratory Certificate of Analysis issued before the B/L.
Rig logistics do not allow a replacement lot: a consignment that cakes in the sack or carries insolubles into the active system is a lost day on the rig. Egypt Globe Group's Quality Assurance division controls every lot from mine or pan to port, and rejects at the loading port any lot outside the CoA — zero tolerance on specification deviation.
